Bassist Jasper Høiby is founder and leader of Loop Collective band Phronesis, winners of Album of the Year in Jazzwise and Mojo for Alive. In addition to a nomination for Best Jazz Act in the 2010 MOBOAwards, Phronesis won a Parliamentary Jazz Award for Best Jazz Ensemble in April 2011. Høiby performs and records with Loop bands such as Jim Hart's Gemini and with other high profile groups, includingMOBO Award nominees Kairos 4tet and MariusNeset's band.
