Double bassist, composer and improviser, Olie Brice leads The Olie Brice Quintet and has been described as “one of the most interesting and satisfying bands on the current UK scene” (Guardian).
The band released their debut album Immune to Clockwork in 2014 with their second album (Babel Label) to follow in 2017. A key player in freely improvised music, Brice is involved in several collaborative projects, including with Tobias Delius, Mark Sanders, Paul Dunmall, Evan Parker, Ken Vandermark, Tony Malaby and Ingrid Laubrock.
