Milestones
Milestones is a professional development programme for 18-23 year-olds who want to build a career in the live music industry.
Participants will attend masterclasses on all aspects of the live music industry, giving insight into how to programme, produce and deliver live events – including booking artists, managing the advance production of shows, budgeting, marketing and on-the-day event delivery.
Participants will then be given the chance to create their own event overseen by the Serious team. The event will be held on the Southbank Centre’s Clore Ballroom, as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2024.
Everyone is welcome to apply but we particularly encourage applications from participants who face additional barriers in society. We are particularly keen to receive applications from:
- People from the Global Majority
- Women, trans and non-binary people
- Those from lower socio-economic backgrounds
- D/deaf and/or Disabled, or have a long term health condition
All project details can be found in the recruitment pack, but you are welcome to email [email protected] with any questions you might have.
