Our summer series of Serious Livestream Sessions continues this coming Thursday 23 July at 8.30pm with GLOR1A – a multidisciplinary artist rooted in experimental RnB, electronic and hip-hop.
Having released her debut EP Testify to acclaim in 2019, 2020 has seen her program an innovative series of online performances and interviews called Dystopian Futures and start a new monthly residency on Balamii radio. As co-curator of Nine Nights TV with experimental dancehall artist GAIKA as part of their artist collective The Spectacular Empire, she is at the forefront of Black avant-garde and future-facing music and art in Britain, and her unique Livestream performance serves as a preview for their curated show as part of Serious’ Between The Lines series in October
