Since the early days of the PRS's Keychange initiative, the EFG London Jazz Festival have been proud to commit to the initiative's 50/50 gender pledge.

PRS Foundation and partners are now amplifying the Keychange initiative by opening the gender balance pledge more widely to include conservatoires, orchestras, broadcasters, concert halls, agents, labels and more, to acknowledge that the gender gap is an industry-wide challenge.

Serious are proud to become one of the first music companies to sign up to Keychange, and continue to fight the good fight for gender equality.

Claire Whitaker, Director of Serious said:

“At Serious we are very proud of our commitment to gender balance and diversity which are among the core elements of our wide ranging programme. By being part of Keychange, we will continue to prioritise the commissioning of artists who identify as female, non-binary or transgender and to improve our statistics year on year to achieve and exceed the 50:50 target by 2022.”
