K-Music Festival 2025

K-Music Festival 2025

A Bold Celebration of Korean Sound

Now in its twelfth year, the K-Music Festival returns from 1 October to 24 November with an adventurous programme uniting leading Korean and UK artists across genres. Taking place at major London venues including Barbican Hall, Southbank Centre, and Kings Place, the festival offers a rich mix of experimental sound art, post-rock, contemporary jazz, and cutting-edge classical music.

Highlights include a powerful opening night collaboration between cellist Okkyung Lee and multidisciplinary artist Mark Fell, blending improvisation and electronic structure at Kings Place.

At the Barbican, post-rock pioneers JAMBINAI team up with the London Contemporary Orchestra under Robert Ames to deliver an epic orchestral reimagining of their sound.

Traditional Korean string trio Hilgeum meets British vocalist Alice Zawadzki in a lyrical cross-cultural performance.

Spanning radical experimentation to reimagined tradition, K-Music Festival 2025 celebrates the bold voices shaping the future of Korean music.

The K-Music Festival is organised by the Korean Cultural Centre UK in partnership with Serious.
