As well as producing the EFG London Jazz Festival, Serious programme a huge variety of other music-based events including Learning & Participation and Talent Development events throughout London and around the UK. Volunteers are an important part of the Serious family and help us reach a wider community whilst providing a really fun experience of the live music world.
We take on volunteers throughout the year to support all of the work that we do, ranging from running guest desks at our charity Serious Trust receptions, reviewing our learning and participation work, helping out the artist liaison during a live show and engaging generally across production administration.
So whether it’s work experience for budding live event producers, wanting to be involved in a diverse range of music or just really keen to help support some amazing learning work for our charity please email our Head of Production, Trish Brown, on [email protected] with a bit of information about yourself and why you’d like to volunteer. We are only able to take on volunteers aged 18+.

As a volunteer, in whatever role, you feel part of the action instead of a mere spectator. Serious give great briefings and support so you become part of the team straight away. Once you get inside the Festival it never feels the same again.
