Seven Korean men created a show for the National Theatre of that went on to tour the globe - Korean Man takes a hilarious look at male/female roles today, blending Korean folk music and jazz

Their visually stunning show is led by extraordinary singer Heemoon Lee, includes Joseon Idol NomNom, and features the jazz group Prelude, who came together at Berklee School of Music. In the show, they reinterpret various traditional vocal music such as minyo , jabga and hwimori-jabga, into the grammar of jazz and through the art of great story-telling.

The eagle-eyed of you will have recognised Hemoon Lee from many projects, including the sold out show with SsingSsing at K-Music 2018, that had audiences up of their feet, singing, and celebrating.

‘Asian rock band SsingSsing and you would hardly think they're singing music inspired by traditional Korean folk. But SsingSsing isn't like any other band I've ever seen or heard. The group sings a regional folk style called minyo and the gender bending look has to do with shamans not glamour… The understated music, the small dramatic gestures and the costumes all combine for one of my most memorable concerts of all time’
