Flautist and film composer Gareth Lockrane leads, composes and arranges for his own septet, his band Grooveyard and the Gareth Lockrane Big Band. His septet's debut album, No Messin, won Best Album in the 2010 Parliamentary Jazz Awards and Grooveyard have a new album coming out in 2011. Lockrane's big band play only his compositions and arrangements, and have appeared at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club to sell-out crowds.
