Composer/ Bassist Dave Kane began studying music with the internationally acclaimed composer and bandleader Brian Irvine with whom he began to explore the idioms of free improvisation, contemporary jazz, classical music, funk and metal. This provided the foundation for current projects, which include the L.I.M.A orchestra (musical director/composer), an ever expanding large improv orchestra featuring some of the UK’s finest young musicians (inc, Matthew Bourne, Chris Sharkey, Christophe De Bezenac and Petter Fadnes) and the internationally acclaimed Bourne/ Davis/ Kane.
