Described as ‘a gamechanger’ by The Guardian, guitarist Ant read physics at Edinburgh University, spending just one semester on a scholarship at Berklee. He leads a quintet playing exclusively Law’s original compositions; their debut album 'Entanglement' was released in 2013.
In 2016 he launched the Art Of Rhythm Trio featuring Matt Ridley (bass) and Asaf Sirkis (drums and konnakol); he also co-leads Trio HLK, ‘cross platform’ project straddling the classical and jazz worlds.
Ant plays in Tim Garland's band with Jason Rebello & Asaf Sirkis, and can be heard with Partikel, with Quincy Jones' protege Ollie Howell and with Henry Spencer. He also works with Koby Israelite, Gwilym Simcock, Cory Henry, Mica Paris, Leon Ware and others.
