Young & Serious presents - City Sounds: Mapping the Scene

35-47 Bethnal Green Road
E1 6LA

The Young and Serious team will showcase outstanding upcoming talent from cities across the UK, and share with you their favourite venues, spaces and sounds for a vital index of new talent in music and culture.

Featuring an evening of incredible music (including a headline performance from Noya Rao, following Sans Soucis), alongside talks and networking opportunitiesspoken word poetry and a collaborative zine workshop, this is a festival that celebrates cross-city collaboration and evolving cultural practise.

Music is now more than ever a vital means of expression – a voice that challenges, celebrates, and demands to be heard. And as our cities grow, as communities expand and music scenes and histories intertwine, we want to find out how the sound of a city changes. As well as sharing their own stories of the cities they love, and the music scenes they couldn’t be without, the Young & Serious team will be asking you to do the same – what defines the culture of your city?

Tickets are £9. A limited amounts of free tickets are available to Tower Hamlets residents and community groups, please contact for more information. Any free tickets not collected 15 minutes prior to the start time will be released.
