Next Generation Takes Over
24th Nov 2019
LONDON Southbank Centre / The Clore Ballroom
The Festival’s flagship mass participation project returns; with an all-female creative team and ensemble, the project addresses the continued gender imbalance within jazz music and seeks to highlight the incredible talent of amateur and professional female musicians alike.
In this free performance project for womxn (self-identifying as female and non-binary people), join Cassie Kinoshi and guest artists such as Chelsea Carmichael and Emily Dankworth to celebrate womxn in jazz.
We are delighted to host this participatory music-making performance, and to do so we are looking for self-identifying women and non-binary people all ages (7+) and musical abilities to apply to take part! Why not encourage friends or family members to apply and join in together?
