Portishead's Adrian Utley curates three nights of music, revealing the influences that have shaped him and introducing new artists who have impressed him.

Renowned musician/producer/composer Adrian Utley is best known for his work as multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer with ground-breaking trip hop band, Portishead - from their founding, through their Mercury Prize winning debut 'Dummy' (1995) to their Gold-certified 2008 album 'Third'.

During his career, Utley has recorded with artists as diverse as Marilyn Manson, Perfume Genius, Jeff Beck and Marianne Faithfull. As a film composer, he worked with Nicholas Roeg on 'Sound' and Sir David Attenborough on 'Spiders From Mars', as well as a collaborative work with Will Gregory (of Goldfrapp) on a soundtrack for the silent film 'The Passion Of Joan Of Arc'.

The SELECTED series of concerts is curated by different artists revealing the influences that shape them and introducing new artists who have impressed them. Previous series have been curated among others by Laura Mvula, NAO, Guy Chambers, Jordan Rakkei and Natacha Atlas. Adrian Utley's nights will draw on his life-long love of jazz, as well as his wide-ranging work and interest in improvised and experimental music.
