Serious New Audiences is an initiative that offers subsidised concert tickets to groups that would not usually have access to arts venues due to geographical, cultural and financial barriers. The scheme benefits hundreds of people each year, including participants from schools and youth groups, community centres and support groups.

We offer Serious New Audiences tickets on shows throughout the year as well as during the EFG London Jazz Festival. Looking forward, the scheme will involve our regional Paul Hamlyn Foundation partners to offer discounted tickets on our touring and festival programme, giving this scheme national reach. If you would like further information about the initiative, concert accessibility or how to purchase Serious New Audiences tickets, contact learning@serious.org.uk.

  • ‘ They loved it so much. They were begging me to stay [for the end of the encore] but I was supposed to have got them home 20 minutes ago! ’

  • ‘ The show was amazing, and something that the young people have never/may never experienced without this opportunity. It was fantastic to be able to offer them this opportunity, I think it really opened their mind to new experiences ’
