BT River of Music: exclusive preview tickets

We have a limited number of FREE TICKETS to attend a 40 minute rehearsal for one of our exciting BT River of Music projects, Arkestra Makara, at Toynbee Hall, in London's East End, 7pm Thursday 5 July, 2012.

Arkestra Makara is the artistic creation of clarinettist/ composer Arun Ghosh, which will bring together an array of international artists for a spectacular performance on the BT River of Music Asia Stage at Battersea Park on Sunday 22 July 2012 – including a special guest appearance by young players from Morpeth School's big band, Urban Playground, who are based in Tower Hamlets.

Join us for a behind the scenes look at some of the work that has gone into the project to date – including a short performance by Arun and Morpeth School's Urban Playground, and presentations by some of the guest artists that will join Arun on stage next month, including koto player Keiko Kitamura and vibes player Corey Mwamba.
