Singer-songwriter Mara Carlyle signed to Matthew Herbert's Accidental Records at the beginning of 2004. Carlyle arranged and produced her debut album, The Lovely, with additional production from electronic music duo Plaid. Her recently released second album, Floreat, was Rough Trade's Album of the Month.
