Pianist Leo Tardin has been building a name for himself internationally since winning the first Montreux Jazz Festival Piano Competition in 1999. His main project is Grand Pianoramax – an all-live trio blending logic-defying vocals of intense poetic immediacy, fiery analogue synth, classy piano and razorsharp drumming. Alongside Leo, the group features drum modernist Dominik Burkhalter and poet wizard/producer Black Cracker on vocals and they have performed together across the world, recently completing a US tour opening for Maceo Parker.
