Her style is inspired by her multicultural heritage and explores identity, sensuality, spirituality and humanity across cultures. Bumi's sound is an organic synergy that combines jazz, folklore, high life, Afro-beat rhythms, reggae grooves and tribal nuances.
She won the WOMATT Award for Best of British Solo Newcomer 2011 and released her debut EP Feather Pearl in 2012.
