Adam's distinctive piano-playing has been noted for the diversity of its stylistic reference points. He has recorded two albums as leader. The first, Second-Handed Blues (ASC Records) is a collaboration with Samplist and Sound Sculptor Paul J Rogers. The latest, The Imaginary Delta (SLAM), is the result of a Manchester Jazz Festival commission and mixes early jazz forms with contemporary idioms and technologies.
